Terrence Beaton, CFA

Terrence Beaton brings more than four decades of investment experience and leadership to Beaton Management Company. A graduate of Babson College (B.S., Investment & Quantitative Methods, 1983) and Boston College (MBA, Finance, 1986), Terry began his career as an Investment Analyst at American Mutual Insurance Company, where he worked with a $550 million portfolio.

Terry joined Beaton Management Company full-time in 1989 and earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1991—one of the investment industry’s most respected credentials.

Throughout his tenure, he has guided clients through changing markets with disciplined analysis, personalized attention, and a long-term approach to wealth management.

In addition to his work at the firm, Terry has been deeply involved in community leadership. He is a past President of the Haverhill Rotary Club, a Trustee of the Pentucket Scholarship Foundation, President of the Northern Essex Community College Foundation, a Director of the YMCA of the North Shore in Haverhill, and has served on the Board of Directors for Pentucket Bank since 1999.

Terry lives in West Newbury with his wife, Lisa, and their dog, Bodie. As a father of five, he values time with his family and enjoys golfing, skiing, and playing paddle tennis in his free time.
